Airedale terrier

The Airedale is the largest of all the terriers being around 60cm in height. The Airedale originated in Yorkshire in the 1800's and has the Otter Hound in its parentage.

Not surprisingly the Airedale was used for hunting badgers and otters. It is also known as the Waterside Terrier and Bingley Terrier.
