Bloodhound

Originating in Belgium in the 800's the bloodhound stands around 64 cms high and is a very dogged tracker! The most likely ancestor of the bloodhound is the St Hubert's Hound which was brought back to Europe from the Crusades. Much prized for its tracking skills the bloodhound is a determined, indomitable animal with a friendly nature.
