Border terrier

One of the smallest terriers (around 30-38 cm high) the Border Terrier originated in the Cheviot Hills that separate England from Scotland in the 1700's and was much used for rat catching! The Border Terrier has great stamina, responds well to training and requires a lot of exercise.
