Boxer

Resulting from crosses between Bullenbeisser mastiffs and bulldogs in Germany in the mid 1800's the Boxer first arrived in the UK in the 1930's. Originally used for baiting bulls and as a guard dog the playful, affectionate Boxer is an excellent companion dog. The Boxer has also been used as a guide dog.
