Newfoundland

Originating in Canada in the 1700's the Newfoundland was used by fishermen for hauling in nets. The Newfoundland is a big dog (standing at around 68 cms high) with a naturally water resistant coat. The Newfy is a a gentle and affectionate dog and is very popular as a companion dog. The Landseer is is black and white and has the same sunny disposition of all the Newfoundlands!
