Springer spaniel

Originating in the UK in the 1800's the springer spaniel was used to 'spring' (flush) game from the ground. The springer spaniel is the ancestor of many other contemporary spaniels. Standing at around 50 cms the springer spaniel makes a good family pet as long as it receives sufficient exercise!
