Belgian Tervuren
This member of the Belgian shepherd dog group is identical to the better known Groenendael apart from the coat colouration. Indeed this close relationship is shown by the fact that occasionally the mating of two Groenendaels result in the birth of a Tervuren pup! The Tervuren was developed at the Belgian School of Veterinary Science in 1891. The Tervuren is an obedient and loyal dog which stands 62 cms high. It is also known as the Chien de Berger Belge.
