Dalmation
This elegant dog was developed in Yugoslavia and then brought to Britain where it became popular as a carriage dog. Standing around 60 cms high the Dalmation makes a good pet but it does require a lot of exercise!

Dalmation pups are born pure white only beginning to develop their spots after a few weeks. Most Dalmations are black and white although some have liver-brown spots.
